Stuart Kemp started his
career as a Chartered Accountancy trainee with a
Chancery Lane practice in 1986 before moving on to
senior financial roles with, amongst others, a
Lloyd’s of London managing agent and the London
Ambulance Service. In 1998 he was appointed as
Director of Finance & Administration for the JPPC
Garages.
After a year in Brunei, Stuart briefly returned to
the UK before relocating to New Zealand in 2000.
There he undertook senior operational roles, with a
focus on effective change management, in the areas
of Supply Chain Management in the Forestry sector
and Project and Practice Management in the ICT
sector.
Stuart returned
to Brunei in 2009 to take up his current role of
Executive Director for Asia Inc Forum. He has a
particular focus on Business Development as well as
executive responsibility for the running of the
business.
He joined the
BBBF Committee in March 2010.
Stuart is a
Chartered Accountant in both the UK and New Zealand
and is the proud holder of an Honours degree in
Economics and an MBA.
He is married to
Aurelia, a Bruneian citizen and an Educational
Psychologist with UPK, and they have two children –
Joshua and Ariana. His primary interest outside of
spending time with his family is in returning his
golf game to a reasonable handicap. |
