Ambrose Nathan had tertiary education in the UK and qualified as a chartered accountant. He worked in various countries for the last 30 years including UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia. A partner in a UK accountancy practice for a number of years and eventually branched out as a business consultant. Had a number of years in corporatization, merger and acquisition roles including acting as a receiver and liquidator.

He has been involved in the security business for the last 15 years in the capacity of finance director, regional financial controller and currently the country head for Brunei.

  Ambrose served as the Treasurer of BBBF and since 2008 Ambrose has been serving as the Chairman of BBBF.

 Ambrose is married to Jane Violet and they have two daughters, Natasha and Lavinia. Ambrose’s interests include walking and is a collector of antiquities notably chinese ceramics . He has held exhibitions and talks on Chinese ceramics and contributes to one of the world’s largest website for chinese ceramics discussion
